Our Story
A family tradition, a passion for travel
From dining to private chauffeuring
In the 1970s, Giovanni Giannini decided to change his life and move to Cervinia.
There, he opened a restaurant where warm hospitality and good food quickly began to attract the first tourists.
He soon realized that visitors also needed a comfortable and reliable way to explore the valley. That’s how his second venture was born: a private chauffeuring service that started with a few occasional rides and grew steadily as Cervinia became known around the world.
From a family story

In 1995, his son Paolo Giannini took over the reins. With determination and vision, he expanded the business by investing in new vehicles and establishing partnerships with accommodation providers, agencies, and tour operators.

Travel to Aosta Valley
Today, in 2025, the family tradition continues with the third generation. Mattia Giannini, Paolo’s son, grew up surrounded by engines and the landscapes of the Aosta Valley, developing a deep knowledge of the region and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Together with his father, he founded Travel to Aosta Valley, the tour operator that takes the family experience in a new direction: not just transporting tourists, but making them fall in love with the Valley
